Renewals Portal – expanded availability
The Residence Permit Renewals Portal is available for online applications for titles expired or expiring from July 2025 to April 2026. Access is gradually expanded as new months open.
On July 11, 2025, AIMA announced the launch of the Renewals Portal, a digital platform that allows Residence Permit holders to renew their permit fully online. The goal is to simplify and speed up the process, reducing queues and bureaucracy.

How does the process work?
Steps to renew online
- Register on the Portal: The applicant registers and receives a password by email.
- Renewal request: After login, submits the application and documentation.
- Payment: The system generates a payment slip for the fees (payment available 24h after issuance).
- Receipt: After payment, a receipt is issued and the application analysis begins.
- Permit issuance: After approval, the new permit is issued.
Attention to deadlines and limitations

The Portal is currently available for titles expired or expiring from July 2025 to April 2026. If your expiry date is later, wait for the portal to open for subsequent months before submitting your renewal request.
Email notifications
Users with permits expired until June 30, 2025 are being notified by AIMA's Mission Structure to renew.
