Our Journey
Our law firm was founded by two young lawyers who, much like many of our clients, emigrated in search of a better quality of life and new challenges. In 2018, we decided to further our academic knowledge and, in doing so, found Portugal to be our new home. Throughout our careers, we built significant professional connections and experiences in our homeland.
However, upon arriving in Portugal, we faced the need to start anew and rebuild our lives. In 2020, we decided to shift the course of our professional paths and establish the firm, focusing exclusively on immigration law and leaving traditional litigation behind.
Our Story
Our law firm was born from both personal and professional necessity. Founded in 2020, it emerged from the direct experience of two lawyers who, after emigrating, identified significant gaps in the legal support available to immigrants in Portugal. Initially, our careers were focused on litigation, but upon recognizing the complexities and particularities of the immigration process, we decided to shift our focus.
We chose to create a firm specializing in immigration services, combining personal experience with legal expertise to provide clients with tailored and exceptional support. Since then, we have worked tirelessly to offer comprehensive and specialized legal solutions adapted to the unique needs of each client.

Marcus Zottis Rocha
With a solid and successful trajectory in the legal field that began in 2007 through internships in the Judiciary and has continued with his work as a lawyer since 2012, this professional stands out for his expertise and commitment to excellence. He graduated in Law from the Catholic University of Rio Grande do Sul in 2011 and continued to deepen his knowledge in academia.
In 2013, he completed his specialization in State Law at the Federal University of Rio Grande do Sul, further expanding his range of skills. His continuous pursuit of innovation and knowledge led him to complete a Master of Law in International Law at the esteemed University of Lisbon in 2024. He also serves as a member of the Human Rights Committee of the Bar Association during the triennium 2023-2025.
He is distinguished for his work in the areas of immigration, citizenship and business, combining theoretical knowledge and practical experience to offer efficient and personalized legal solutions to his clients. Catherine Rezende Barros
Beginning her professional journey in 2014 with internships in public agencies and the Federal Court, this lawyer has built a solid career, practicing independently since 2017, with a focus on arbitration and civil law. She graduated from the prestigious Federal University of Rio de Janeiro in 2017 and has demonstrated a passion for knowledge by continuing her academic journey. In 2024, she concluded a Master of Law in Civil Law at the renowned University of Lisbon, with research in the area of arbitration.
With practice in the areas of immigration, visas, nationalities, arbitration, and family law, this lawyer stands out for her competence and skill in finding effective and personalized legal solutions for her clients.
